Year of the Guy

So, as I predicted, this year seems to be the year of the guy. Last year (which was horrible by the way) is what I called a year of the girl, where girls had the advantage over the guy. Many of my guy friends (as well as me) got screwed over by girls. So while the screwing was going on, I had this feeling that next year (this year) would be the year where the guys have the advantage, and so far it holds true.

Now, in my mind, it doesn't feel like a cyclical thing, where the girls will go back to having the advantage next year. It feels like random occurrences. Next year, things will go back to normal where guys and girls will have their respective advantages based on their unique situations. But for now, we're basking in the glorious aftermath of the massive shitstorm that was 2008.
